SARS risk is fading in Hong Kong.

30 admitted,50 discharged, ICU bed utilization dropping. I don't think SARS will overwhelm any hospital system with good infection control. There has to be some reason why we have 200 patients and no deaths in US and Hong Kong has 1300 patients and 65 deaths. SARS will run rampant in US nursing homes when it actually gets here but will probably no adversely effect most able body wage earners. We are much more regulated in housing and health care environments.
