Another difference with the kids today - I saw a whole program regarding it on tv - is that they are so use to getting everything right away. They don't have to wait for anything:

- When we were kids, if we wanted to see The Wizard of Oz we would have to wait until they showed it on tv once a year - nowadays they can see anything they want immediately.

-If we called a friend to ask them something and they weren't home we would just have to wait and keep trying - no cell phones like today where everyone is always reachable.

-Internet, should I say more? Information available at their finger tips - no going to the library and doing research.

-Instant messaging - instead of having to wait until someone in the family got off the phone like we had to do, they just get on the computer and gab all night with their friends.

-Digital cameras - no taking the picture and then having to drop it off somewhere and wait a few days for the results.

What else? I am sure there are loads more! But the point is that these kids get everything instantaneously.
