iPOD i think is one of greatest succeses in hisory by technology to convince people they absolutely MUST have what you really don't need.
I note we are getting a bit of backlash in references to "The Pod People".
If, the young, start thinking, "o my am i uncool with my iPOD?" its sales will start to slow down.
Little things spreading like "Hey look at the jerko walking with his iPOD, so NOT cool."
iPOD is NOT the Cellular Phone, and even the Cellular Phone is getting some people to ask, what do i have to do to ever be alone--this constant Cellular intruder, ring, ring---gees do i have a life for myself anymore:)?
Just a little peeve from some old guy that can remember a world that was really not a catastrophe without walking around with tech machines.
Frankly the idea of the cellular hooked up family to this old head is one horrible thought.
Man i come from the generation when parents went "Where are you going?" "Out" "O.K., just try to get back alive".
If your parents were otherwise, we would all pity the poor person with der Fuehrer dad or mom.
Per this generation, my generation should all have died young:)
