urche - I have no problem. You will probably teach me something.

First I made a mistake - Cystoscopy remains the "gold standard" for identifying bladder cancer, but has it's drawbacks: it is expensive, invasive and many people find it uncomfortable. A urine test is far easier to get patients to readily comply to.

Bladdercheck has a 97% negative predictive value.

I'am guessing this would change your answer.

I think if your out 2 years with bladder cancer and you get a bladdercheck test that say you don't have cancer, you can feel comfortable with getting scoped once a year.

If the bladder check test says you have cancer and the scope cannot find it, you should be scoped once every 3 months, and continue bladdercheck.
