ABT continues dividend-hike/infant-formula-relief rally—the stock is +10% on the week, which is almost unheard of for such a low-beta name.

Not really sure that it is its "low-beta" function as much as how much it has under performed this year. ABBV coninues to do much better, let alone historic underperformers like JNJ. And of course this has been an incredible year for true biotechs. With the average portfolio up >50% (let alone rkrw's), most of the big pharma/diagnostic look like lost opportunities, but time will tell on risk/reward issues.
