Thank you for taking a reasonable standpoint without using the word "scam"! I agree with you that the trading is odd and doesn't add up. But, I don't think it ever has. I think your logic of uptrend=good news coming & downtrend=bad news coming is wrong and generally misleading for lots of stocks.
