ME: Fannie released essentially all of its valuation allowance. Still waiting on Freddie. Fannie released theirs at the time of their 10K. Do you think Freddie will wait until its next 10K to do it. I think they are close to being able to do it, but it’s hard to predict.


Tax Accountant (nephew): "More than likely wait till the 10K. With valuation allowances, there are in depth analysis’s that need to be performed and so forth to have enough evidence to release. And since the only audit is at year-end, versus the quarterly “reviews”, it makes senses that we should see it at the time of the 10K."
