If you were going to purchase a used car would you let the seller suggest a shop to have the car inspected or would you take it to a shop that you have access to and know the mechanic?

My simple mind tells me they wanted the goods tested near them. Somewhere they could go and see the studies conducted. Obviously the SOE wasn't to concerned about the cost since they flew a decent amount of the rocks to China. Could not have been cheap. I don't think it is a matter of 200K. I think they wanted it done near them.
