I hear you on that but to play devils advocate here with the last couple of trading days being in the green if they do make a deal is it going to be a sell the news type of event, maybe the green days here have already priced in the deal? With everything that has been going on if they announce the news and we do not make new highs are we then to sell? Look at the SPX...We have a rising wedge which if we do not pop out of it can be a topping pattern. The sto is moving quickly to over sold on this chart which could set us up for a H&S pattern. Just throwing it out there not saying that it is going to happen but something to think about.
