No, the point isn't "everyone is doing it". The point is that the 3 column format has become standard in this market. We aren't jumping on any bandwagon that changes the fundamental way we run this site though it's been suggested many times that we should.

This change in no way undermines the core of iHub and the goals we have to allow discussion positive, neutral or negative.
