Folks, I think everyone who is angry here is over-reacting, as is the market. This filing is really NOT a big deal.
All the S-8 is doing is outlining the company's 2006 stock-based employee incentive plan and authorizing the shares to support it. It's no different than the plans used by most companies to compensate, and more importantly, to incentivize their employees.
This sudden drop in the stock price is being driven by:
1. those who don't really understand the filing, and who probably see "S-8" and think, "Oh my God! More dilution!!!" and hit the panic button and sell. Yes, the use of this stock incentive plan will dilute the share base -- no doubt. But conversely, it will keep cash in GZFX's coffers, because it allows the company to compensate employees, directors, consultants, etc. for services performed with shares and/or options IN LIEU OF CASH. It's a good idea, people!!! Wake the f*&K up!!! If plans like this were not helpful, would almost every publicly traded company out there use them? Think Google, MSFT, Home Depot, etc...
2. day traders who saw the panic of (1) above and realized it was time to move on for the day. They'll be back. I'm sure of it. As a matter of fact, they'll probably be back by the time I'm done typing this post.
As Warren Buffet likes to say, "Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful."
Well, it looks like others are being fearful. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some shares to purchase.
