Respectable point, if we had any proof said arm exists. Also, space is a whole different environment to 40m underwater. Im not entirely sure the expertise is equivalent in utility. Also, I think I would go with the modern engineer designing my equipment... 15 years old is extremely outdated not only in technology but in manufacturing processes.

Which brings up another point. If this Tygerlynk does exist, where is it? Since it hasn't been chopping down trees has it just been rusting in a warehouse the last 10 years?
