50% of all US marriages fail within 5 years and all the encouragement on earth couldn't save most of them in the long run. You think more single parent families result from this situation or from "liberalism and anything goes lifestyles"?
Exactly, seabass.
I was part of a child care center that was part subsidized by the state for single parents going to school. Almost all the moms had been married and were now divorced... not what they expected to happen. Many of them had husbands who abandoned them and their children. Most had not gone beyond high school and were unable to get jobs that could support their family and pay for child care. For instance, my ex went home to live with his parents. Since that was not an option for me, I was up a creek without a paddle. If it hadn't been for that center and help like that, I wouldn't have been able to get to school and eventually get a job that could support my family. I had to work hard, but I also know that I was one of the lucky ones to have the opportunity to get out of that rut.
