Thanks, hap!! My little one is in a private school with a 4 to 1 student teacher ratio, and a private 1 on 1 remediation program. I have little confidence in my public schools ability to help. I think he might get lost in their "institutional" system or "warehoused" in a resource room. Unfortunately and in general, I don't think public schools address individual LD needs adequately. I think within their "limited" budgets, they serve certain legislated requirements, and not necessarily the best interests of the child.
