Bill Maher: Ted Cruz Reminds Me Of Miley Cyrus

Ted Cruz and Miley Cyrus have one key thing in common, at least according to Bill Maher [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0XcV5_0mF-8 (above, as embedded)].

"He reminds me of Miley Cyrus, Ted Cruz, because he is not afraid to incur the wrath of even some of his fans for the greater good of drawing attention to himself, Maher said on his HBO show [ http://www.hbo.com/real-time-with-bill-maher/index.html ] Friday night [9/27/13].

"I really think that a filibuster is the political version of twerking," Maher said. While Americans in general weren't too keen on Cruz's performance on the Senate floor, his filibuster has given him a substantial boost among Republicans, according to a HuffPost/YouGov poll [ http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/28/ted-cruz-poll_n_4005446.html ].
