I'm sure Ted Seuss Cruz will influence House teabaggers - they never did have an interest in governing this nation - but actually "lead" the House? No doubt he'd love it, but Eric Cantor has not been backstabbing Boehner for years only to step aside for a junior senator from Texas.
Just an aside...Eric Cantor's wife is a VP in a private VA bank and he knows the last thing Wall Street wants - and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce too - is a gov't shutdown over a law most corps plan to deal with.
Ted Cruz is overplaying his hand imo, but Texas being Texas will still love him.
