Sorry to interject, but I agree with you Zan, not just because I have a gazzilion dollars invested, lol.
It sounds like they arranged a deal a long time ago (Grunberg) and it may have been at a time when all or most of their programming was at "the closet level" and they were excited about it. Maybe certain networks (TW COX etc)or just later on down the road Q's programming grew out of "the closet level" and they had to pass. I don't know what the contracts say but I'm sure they are not the first or last program to get bumped. I guess that's show biz. Frank had a contract from Dish years ago and they bumped him on his ass too. Sounds like a bump and grind business.
