Excuse me but I read it totally different. This was the "big" evidence that Bush had been screaming about on Iraq's WMDs since November. And that evidence ended up being a forgery. So no matter where that evidence came from, the Bush administration used it as fact and went ahead eventually with the war, the killing of innocent people, and invasion of a sovereign country. So for all I know the Bush administration, or someone close to it, was the forger to begin with. Either that or the Bush administration is very callous and irresponsible to accept forged documents as evidence and facts without a complete investigation of their own. BTW, the FBI is investigating that matter since the UN uncovered that the documents were forged but I'm not hoping for much results considering the very close attachment to the Bush administration.
