And that is the point were we part. Not only has democracy to be established but it needs to be kept over a long time to show it's fruits. But to keep it you need the majority of the people to support it, you need the will to establish consensus and you need the willingness to live in situations which are against your will. Now that Saddam is gone, Iraqies have a new chance. Let's hope they don't give it away. The risk that we will see a fall back to a shiit dominated religious state is great. We will see in one year.
Apart from that my doubt about this war comes mainly from the new US foreign policy of using WMDs as preemptive attacks and the constant lies and misinformation for selfjustification.
