HAWK is not GLER. They have an undefined partnership but they are not the same company. HAWK is receiving the tax incentives (if this is real to begin with) and would have no impact on GLER.
HAWK reported to GLER that it is working with the various state and local agencies to expand operations and bring new employment to the areas; HAWK is negotiating incentives at the state and local level that could total more than $17 million in tax incentives and other benefits.
The real DD is in looking more closely at HAWK and all that is public does not look good; less than $1 Million in sales and less than 20 employees for a manufacturing company. it is sad so few want to break down this DD better, understand more about who HAWK really is, and better still, understand what this partnership really brings to investors in GLER as that is where you are investing, not HAWK. Any ideas?
