I just ran across your post about stocks to watch, and I agree with Steve - during trading hours, 25 stocks is too many to keep an eye on in addition to the ones I am actually trading. Like Steve, I do fine with a much shorter list that I can watch at a glance, since what I am looking for is rabbits so I can trade the laggards.
I use INTC, CSCO, MSFT, and AMAT and/or KLAC. Since you watch a broader range of stocks than I do, I would add GM to that list, and possibly either IBM, GE or MMM.
I had not thought about QLGC for a monitoring list, but Steve may well be correct. I have found that on most days, you can catch the turns just by watching the primary four stocks and watching the order flows on the bid/ask.
