If legalization happens, MJNA could be screwed on CBD
Talking about 2018 is pointless if most expect legalization before then.
If legalization occurs, then it may be that it will be more economical to extract high-CBD oil from marijuana than hemp, especially from high-CBD/low-THC strains like Charlotte's web and R4.
Instead of planting acres and acres of hemp and be subject to the weather, manufacturers will simply grow those marijuana strains year-round in greenhouses, and extract the oils in small batches to be shipped as needed.
Right now, the biggest advantage for MJNA and Cannavest/Phytosphere is the fact that marijuana is illegal, while CBD extracted from hemp grown outside the U.S. is not.
Make pot legal, and that advantage disappears.
