Yeah, he could have been more (with the) "journalistic integrity" & added that he never saw it, tested it, etc..
Because, in truth, when MOST panels were first coming out they were nearly ALL OVER $25,000.00 with some well over $100,000.00!!! (Context)
I remember remarking to a friend that I had to see what a $100,000.00 4K Panel REALLY DOES...so to see someone (IN THAT ENVIRONMENT...& AT THAT TIME) release a 4K Panel for $1,500.- is somewhat "suspicious"...
Moreover, continuing on the "journalistic integrity" vein, had the author researched the PARENT COMPANY...he might have had much more to say about the Seiki Panel...but, aside from what you just pointed out....I thought the author did a very fair job on the whole....
It is an informative article for those who really are just starting to "get up to speed" on 4K imho.
