Kind of simplistic analysis, don't you think?

I mean, it was over that same period that Intel allegedly put the thumbscrews to just about anyone who was or could have been dealing with AMD, while at the same time AMD was building a new state-of-the-art fab.

And AMD still pulled through smelling like roses, while Intel lost several hundred $B in market cap and priceless mindshare.

Soon we'll see the shine come off Yonah. It will NOT be the huge advantage it's being sold as here.

Meanwhile, Intel burns another $4B on A) their own sinking stock, and B) VIIV marketing. MY GOD what a colossal waste of money.
