Medved Quotetracker is my trading platform. Metastock 8 I use for eod scans. It is programmable, so custom indicators are possible.

QT is a freebie, with a restriction on data stored. The subscription is really very resonable for what you get. Check it out. It might be something the new traders/subscribers might find useful.
