PGO also get stats on how often code is used and in large applications, I'd guess that most of the code isn't used. So it
shuffles unused code off to the side somewhere. Though it's still available. It just isn't physically close to the code that gets executed more often. One could argue that this could get paged out to disk but I have general complaints about Windows paging and don't like to have paging at all. With memory as available and cheap as it is today, I find it easy to live without one.

BTW, anyone notice Micron's stock moving north?
