If your best bet is for Intel to fail due to Microsoft overbloating their operating system, I suggest not getting your hopes up. Sometimes it pays to be cynical about a company with a history of software issues, but hoping for Core Duo to be singled out right at the 2GB mark is pretty much asking for a misalignment on a product that Intel has not only been validating for more than a year on actual Vista pre-production code, but has also no doubt been involved in deep collaboration with MSFT from the very beginning on making it a commercial success. Not only that, but they have already announced support for Vista publicly.

Try as you might and though you might try, I don't think you are going to find fault with this Intel product.
