On the claim of gas or industrial chemicals being used and by which side the only way forward on that surely must be total access granted to a UN team to any and all sites in question, and for the purpose for them to determine what and which side used whatever .. Assad's opposition to that has to be seen as suspect, why wouldn't he agree if he hadn't used something illegal? .. at the same time the question as to why he would use illegal stuff now at this time with a UN team there, even with their limited aim, feels a valid one .. it doesn't make sense that he would .. on the whole question of the war this one .. http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2012/oct/21/west-policy-syria-failure-russia-iran .. is old, but if the bloodshed is to be stopped surely .. surely both sides have to say .. hey! .. enough!!! .. and to forget everything with the aim becoming some sort of political solution with Assad .. fuck him, but .. staying in power .. and elections in 2014 .. that's the only way out as i see it .. a political solution is the only way ..
