Perhaps I do better than you think. Apple fans follow what Jobs tells them to. His marketing and style are what keeps his followers loyal, and he has been parading 64-bits for some time now. As such, the loyal Mac fan needs to have it, even though it doesn't do anything for them. I can't wait to see what Jobs' marketing skills can do for Core Duo.

You're good a toeing the party line, but you still have no arguments for why 32-bits won't cut it. Yonah is replacing the G4, by the way, not the G5. All I'm saying is that transitioning laptops to Core Duo is going to make laptops look pretty good against the desktop equivalents, in spite of them being 64-bit.
