The formal Certification Audit is conducted as
part of Phase 3. The audit is performed by an audit
team consisting of at least two members (exceptions can be made for small facilities). The duration
of the audits vary depending upon the size of the
company, complexity of the management system,
and breadth of manufacturing processes.
Upon completion, the audit team will generate a
detailed report outlining the results of the audit.
