I read the article about fingerprinting the public housing residents. A general observation. . .

It's easy to find people telling us what we owe the unfortunate souls on the bottom rungs of society, but finding any suggestions about what the people accepting handouts owe the hardworking citizens who are paying for this generosity is profoundly difficult.

It seems that those paying the Piper are no longer calling the tune.

Maybe it's time for a debate. Start with this question: What have you done to deserve our assistance. (Hint: fecundity doesn't count.)
