Pajaso, Smasung does not enjoy an economy of scale, they aren't licensed to sell their in house chips to others. Nokia thinks they do because of their claim to 40% of all handset sales, they too do not enjoy any economy of scale. NOK has less tham 10% of the CDMA market and 0% of the mid-high end CDMA market. QCOM enjoys the largest advantage of economies of scale, having shipped well over 200 million cdma chips(cumulative). QCOM will continue to lower prices much as Itel has done, to grow it's markets.
