Actually flew through and stayed 6 hours in Oklahoma City outbound (small pack of kinfolk in OK). I gather from talking to them and reading some of the local papers that there is some debate about rebuilding some schools and strengthening others to improve safety - who should pay for it. Local? State? Federal?

I am sad to say that my kin are of the opinion that each of the branches should help in improving safety for American children. Such a project might run into 100s of millions if not a few billion dollars just to improve safety for a bunch of kids. The ingrates never stopped to consider how much good that money could do on Wall St....shocking, isn't it? Callous even.

It's a good thing Ben and Tim have their priorities straight and put our money where it will do some good - protecting 5-6-7 figure salaries and 7-8-9 figure golden parachutes of their buddies.

Gotta remember that 'We the people...common good' only covers a few square miles of Manhattan and Washington DC.
