Susie, money says you have some programs running in the background that are spurring ads. A lot of programs these days are ad-ware/spy ware that spawn ads all the time and people think they are coming from sites they are viewing, but they are actually from programs on your computer. The CL thread here has quite a bit of info on this type thing.
