If you are a "paid compensation" poster and you post a ticker on this board, please go elsewhere. This board is focused on chart players, and technical traders. As the moderator, I appreciate posts from traders who make their money (or lose their money) on those technical chart trades. The primary focus is on bounce plays and bottom plays.
Though we may watch pumped stock charts, our interest as technical chart traders on this board is primarily AFTER the dump and we're looking for a bounce. We don't need pump posters who are still trying to bring volume to a stock so that it can be dumped. Such paid posts dilute the quality of the information we hope to provide here in terms of chart trade opportunities. I would hope that the readers of this board are wise enough to know the risks involved with following the advise of "paid compensation" posters. If they're getting paid to post a ticker, you can know that they are not necessarily acting in your best interest. They're merely doing what they are paid to do.
If I see obvious paid posts, even with disclaimers, I'm likely to remove them as "spam", simply because this board is not the place for it. Sometimes it is hard for me to read all posts-- particularly on a day or week when my life is busy elsewhere, but I'll try to keep this board as focused as possible on the charts, and not on active pumps.
I am not a promoter or professional stock trader. I'm a regular guy who enjoys stock trading to make (or lose) a few dollars. I am only responsible for my own trading foibles, not yours...do your own DD.
