that's not how i would phrase it. i'm from the Dudash school and try to avoid prediction.

what i'm looking at is showing signs of a potential breakout and i'm watching carefully for confirmation. it isn't happening, yet, which would worry me except i genuinely don't care which way the market goes. i just want it to move and i want to be there when it does. i honestly could not care less which direction that ends up being.

it means i missed out on a range-bound short this morning but if the range continues to hold what i missed out on is less than what i caught on the latest overnight pump.

right now the indications favor up because i see no signs of imminent tankage. but of course that could change very quickly.
