I went back looking at them again, found out they got SPAs from FDA on ABSSSI and CABP more than one year ago, however, still no sign of starting ph3 in any indication. I don't know whether lack of funding is the main reason. There wasn't much detail regarding SPAs, what will be comparators, size of studies etc, but they did say the studies will be double-blind. I suppose they couldn't do what they did before, use two comparators, one for gram positive one for gram negative pathogens.
