Manning also disclosed US military plans...I wonder how many of his fellow soldiers would give him a pass for putting their lives in jeopardy.
Tonight on PBS' NewsHour an attorney (Mr. Smith) who previously worked in the CIA said after 911 the gov't realized there was a need to share information between agencies and since Manning and Snowden abused their sworn duty to keep information confidential, the gov't is reverting back to not sharing information - which makes ALL of us less safe. The other attorney in this discussion, (forgot his name), represented Wikileaks - he feels Manning was mistreated and he has a right, no duty, to reveal gov't secrets when it comes to military action he disagrees with.
