Few years back, on SI, I had lengthy discussions with some people on the RMBS thread on OUM. I still do not understand why such smart companies do not see the obvious... this is a first order phase transition and when they go to sub 100 nm design rules, they will find out that problems involved with specific heat of transition will make these unacceptably slow.
