Tom its not that no one wants to hit the ask, its just not the right time to hit it. You only hit the ask from the bottom of the cycle up! Not from the top down! You sit below bid with staged orders and wait for the cheapest price to come down to you. Thats if you already have an entry position. The time is coming to start hitn the ask again. It wont be until around the earnings release tho. Keep watchn the charts and you will know when we are near bottom. But keep in mind, all these prices are really good right now.
