What does Bebevco have to do with BBDA? It's just an abbreviation - a non-official nickname, unlike the actual Bebevco, Inc company that's signing all the contracts now and getting the equity ownership...unless BBDA management would like to go on record with a statement that it's not the case, of course.
It's being brought up because Brian Weber is the CEO of Bebevco. A CEO's business history is completely relevant to researching a company, even if (and especially if) it includes multiple, long term associations with convicted crooks like Hochstedler.
Why even bring it up.
Because it's relevant. I understand shareholders don't want to hear it, but that's too bad. If there's something someone doesn't like about the CEO's business history, maybe they shouldn't "invest" in the company.
