Two times in my trading career the fed did some really cool maneuvering, but thats about it. One was the surprise intra meeting move in Oct 98, and as I recall, they did it late on the Thursday of expiry week! I mean, in my wildest fantasy, I want to be the guy who raises or lowers rates one hour before the close on the Thursday of expiry week. Then he did it again in April 01
