Interesting I put in a small order at .005

and TDA got it for me at .0047 ...can anyone tell me what's going on?

Isn't that complicated. Someone had an Ask in at 0047 or slightly below. Your bid does essentially a wildcard match against the lower price. The selling broker gives their client the PPS they wanted, or maybe slightly better. Your broker gave you a better price that what you bid. Both parties should be very happy - they got what they wanted. No MM conspiracy as suggested by another. Just two brokers acting in the best interests of their clients.
