I agree that the two stories are similar, NFLX and GZFX and that we have fresh angle with the games...BTW I just brought back 15 XBOX games to EB Games to get in store credit and buy somethin else and I got $26!!!!!!!! WTF...RIPOFF! I am renting from here on out!
OK, sorry, back to investing...the way the two companies capitalized their business model is the glaring difference. NFLX went big with a major market IPO which net then over $800 million at $15 a share times 55,000,000 shares. GZFX started on the OTC with the potential for $4 billion O/S, not going to get into dillution on this board as I'm sure I'll be stoned by many. Even with $4 billion shares OS, I think GZFX can eventually trade above $1 if they grow the business the right way and maintain partnerships with the likes of CC.
NFLX as an investment has at best yielded a 400% aggregate return since inception (selling at peak), they have provided a 44% annualized return since 6/02 (pretty good investment). EVERYONE long on this board, including myself, is hoping/expecting a MUCH higher ROI than what NFLX has done. So, when people compare us to NFLX that does not put me at ease, I would rather be compared to SIRI. The potential return must be huge considering the risk, I am confident that it is worth the risk and therefor this is currently my largest position.
Thanks for your response and the intelligent discussion
