There are two trades, long or short. Could they buy shorts with the 3.75 Billion in POMO today, you betcha LOL A 20% drop in the markets this time of year is expected. It use to be, get out of the markets in mid July and then buy back at the end of September going into earnings. Of course GDP comes out in a week. Not sure if anyone wants to see those redefined figures. The are putting in R&D figures in, so we feel better about out economy LOL. We will have the GDP headline for the weak minded and then the revised ex R&D for the real people.
