Hey 4 kids, I have a question for you. You keep on implying that the goal of the MM or hedge funds is to drive the price lower. With an ultimate end goal of selling high.

What if the company goes bankrupt? Doesn't that make your theory untrue? In fact, by, driving down the price as you suggest, they are making the company unattractive for further investment.

The only people who would gain from bankruptcy would be the whales, and then not nearly as much as their original investment. The P&E is worth the lesser of Book or Market. Market may be near worthless ifit is not proven to be profitable.
