Sure it does, but that has nothing to do with Sharon, that was my point, they have enough reasons to hate us without the Israeli question. Actually, you would think they should hate the Russians more, since they were one of the driving forces in the successful establishment of the state of Israel. The Russian gave a De Jure recognition to the new state in 1948 (while we only granted a "De Facto" recognition), but more importantly till about 1953/4 the Soviet block was the only supplier of armaments to the struggling new state, and through their surrogate, Cechoslovakia, provided sufficient arms to withstand the onslaught of seven Arab armies in 1948. Why are they not hating Russia if Israel was the real reason?
