TXHOLDINGS (TXHG) – I've never posted before, but looking at all the forums and threads, this appears to be the best place to get some knowledgable opinions about the potintial of this little company.
A little background: Years ago this company was started by the usual shysters who bought a few broken down oil wells but were mainly interested in selling shares. The current CEO (Buck Shrewsbury) was a large shareholder who eventually took over the company. TX Holdings sued the old CEO who settled out of court and returned millions of shares back to the company. TX Holdings is also currently suing the old auditors and I believe that could be settled very soon.
Buck continued with the oil business but soon realized that breaking even was the best he could do with those old wells. Buck owns his own trucking company, so using his knowledge and leverage in the trucking business he started selling rails and bits to mining companies. Buck is now realizing the potential here is huge and he hasn't even and scratched the surface yet.
Quick Facts:
SEC compliant (OTCBB)
Shares Outstanding: 48,053,84
Float: 37.83M
Last Quarter’s Revenue $954,074
Last Quarter’s Net Income: $24,744
Last quarter was the beginning of a turnaround, but it's the gross profit margin of the last four quarter's that really stands out to me.
Gross Profit Margin:
June 29, 2012
19%
Sep 29, 2012
21.9%
Dec 30, 2012
23.7%
Mar 30, 2013 28.5%
The company has a loss carry forward of over $8 million to use for future tax purposes. Because it appears they may be profitable going forward this should help the bottom line over the next year or so.
Buck has three goals in mind:
1) Run the company with honesty and integrity (very important to him)
2) Grow the company at a consistent but reasonable rate.
3) Move to a higher exchange (I have no doubt this will be achieved)
Goal three will take time but he's already prepping for the future by displaying the financials in XBRL format per the SEC on the website (TXHOLDINGS.COM).
The next quarterly is due out anytime now, and I've noticed the volume has increased this past week, so it looks like interest is picking up.
Any opinions?
