yes, lots of armchair traders out there. i suspect a lot of folks are on the sideline because they either no longer have enough to trade with or they have the cash but - and who could blame them - they're freaked by the jaggedness of this market.

you gotta figure most bulls have gotten pretty good. what i noticed after this latest 1000 point dow ramp is the number of bears seems to have declined. between this last ramp and the october ramp an awful lot of bears are hurting, too. market doesn't discriminate, i guess.
