Bobby, I think we are seeing more than one force at work.. first off the end of the year is upon us and therefore for tax purposes many if not most investors sold all losers to help keeping some of their money from the clutches of the government... If this is true then we should see a hearty uptrend starting soon as many will re-enter.
Second, all the witless blathering about the supposed Dec 15th PR lead many to sell thereby starting what we have seen which has been a bullish consolidation... a regrouping if you will.
Now again two things are about to happen from essentially the same two groups of people.. One, those who sold for tax reasons will re-enter, and two the brainless lemmings will also re-enter because they are looking for a Jan 15 PR.
